Remember when I was talking about how we were going to reach 60-degrees this weekend and I was all like: “YAY! spring is finally here for good. No more winter.” Remember that? Well apparently Mother Nature was not too happy with my excitement because the weather this Saturday went from 60-degrees down to 46-degrees, AND it’s supposed to snow. NO. I actually wore the most spring-like outfit on Monday and now I’m digging back in my closet for some cozy knits and coats. Since the cold hasn’t arrived yet, I’ve been able to pull out my lighter coats like this black and white animal print one from Ann Taylor. It’s an oldie but goodie and I love that I can wear it anything. It really has the ability to make a simple outfit stand out. AND you may notice that I’m bearing some skin in the footwear department. That’s because I recently got my hands on this Thierry Rabotin couture pumps. They’re not only super comfortable, but they glitter as I walk. They’re like an adult version of the light-up sneakers I used to have when I was a kid. They too have the ability to bring any outfit to the next level. As you can see, I paired them with this casual chic look and it instantly looks ultra sophisticated. It’s important to have pieces like these in your arsenal; they make mixing and matching fun and easy.
