Fortunately, Boston was somewhat spared from Winter Storm Jonas and I couldn’t be more relieved. So far my winter in Boston hasn’t been as daunting as I expected it to be. I did, however, spend an hour of my Sunday digging out my car from the snow that the plows pushed up against my car. It could’ve been much worse, but it still wasn’t ideal. Although we didn’t get as much snow as my fellow New Jerseyans and New Yorkers did, I still spent my weekend as if we were expecting 30 inches of snow. We rushed to the grocery store, stocked up on food and booze and prepared to stay indoors from 2pm until Sunday morning. I couldn’t have asked for a cozier or more wine-filled weekend. So it’s no surprise that I’m feeling particularly bloated this Monday morning and am dealing with it the only way I know how; with leggings and a sweatshirt. My faux leather leggings have been a lifesaver for me because they look as sophisticated as a pair of leather pants, but are as comfortable as my favorite pair of leggings. Let’s be real, sweatshirts are a hard sell for most offices, but this FreePeople dark grey high-neck sweatshirt is classic and chic; sneaking by office wardrobe politics. In the effort to add even MORE comfort, I slipped on my UGG croft sneakers (sold at J.Jill) and added some height to them with my new Invisible Heels. That’s right. I’m an inch and  half taller in my favorite flats with these nifty lifts. “Hello, longer legs!” Alright, I’m ready to get Monday over with. Let’s do this!
