Details: Multi-striped linen dress c/o J.Jill, here |
I don’t what the hell is up with this weather, but it sure as hell didn’t feel like the April that I know, and considering it’s already May, I’m in even more shock–Boston, get IT together! In the meantime, I’ve been testing out some self-tanners and I think I found the one. I’ll save the details for a separate post, but check out Tanceuticals and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Anyway, I spent my Sunday at the outlets with my roomie and I really had a hard time controlling myself. From cut-off denim shorts to sleek sleeveless work dresses, I was in heaven! I’m the type of girl who has way too many dresses and pants, but never enough tops. I don’t know what it is, I’m drawn to dresses, especially during the summer. This multi-striped linen dress is super comfortable and light weight and it’s definitely something I can wear to work as well as the beach. It’s a loose fitted dress more, but since I prefer dresses with more of a shape, I accessorized with a belt. I admit it, my toenails are not polished, so I’ve been sticking with my wedge booties and I actually think these nude ones from Primark will remain a constant throughout my spring wardrobe. The forecast this week is rain, rain and more rain, but since my legs are looking tanner, I may just be pulling out my favorite spring dresses to kickstart the season.
