I’ve finally found my summer work uniform, it took some time—mostly because I couldn’t find the right pant. Since the jogger pant  surfaced as a significant trend, I’ve been on a mission to find a well fitted pair (specifically for the summer months). Not to mention, someone very rude told me that in order to wear jogger pants you MUST be “absolutely stunningly beautiful and/or extremely tall and thin.” That poor nameless and misinformed sap underestimated me. I will admit, the jogger pant is difficult for the vertically challenged. Take it from me, someone whose lived a life of rolled up and cuffed under pants for far too long. So you can imagine my surprise when I walked into UNIQLO and met my match, (no tailor required). They are THE perfect fit, and regardless of your height they just work. The elastic tapered bottom makes them easy to fit and ‘scrunch up’ if necessary (don’t worry it’s not) and the top half is well fitted, more so than any other pair I’ve come across. Often times with ‘scrunching up’ comes a puffy, unflattering top half, but that doesn’t exist with these. So in between sporting sundresses and shorts I will be able to combat an ice box office AND look cute with my newly loved joggers.
